Dear Friends,

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.  I am one of them.  In 2013, I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. I'm proud and blessed to say that I am cancer free due to the incredible medical care and research that saved my life. Now it is my time to give back by participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Once again, I am team captain for Abreast In A Boat and we hope to surpass our record fundraising efforts last year! Along with my paddle sisters, we are living proof there is an incredible live to live - especially in a Dragon Boat!
