In April 2022 we got the devistating news that my cousin, who is my best friend someone I call a sister was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer at the very young age of 32. She and her family have been so strong through this fight and I am so proud of her. 

On October 1st our family friends and I will be by her side trying to help make a difference in the lives of people who are affected by cancer. Together we hope to bring awarnes and hopefully one day a cure for this life long disease.

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.  

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 2, 2022.  

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
