Hi I was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer june 2019. I had so much support from my family, friends and my CIBC family. I started working with 6 months of chemo which consisted of 12 weekly then 4 biweekly treatments. Then surgery and 20 rounds of radiation. Throughout this journey I was able to continue to work with support of my team and leaders. I had chemo buddies and then there was my husband and daughter who were there for me and kept life as normal as possible. I have now retired and I enjoying my 2 years of being cancer free. I continue to take drugs to help reduce the chances of reoccurring, while these had done side effects but all worth it
