An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada. I am one of them. In 2018, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. For years, I’ve donated and walked many miles to raise funds on behalf of friends facing cancer never thinking it would be me. Thankfully, I am now 6 years cancer free thanks to the incredible medical care and research that saved my life. 

This year, I am joining my paddling sisters from ABreast in A Boat at the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024 with a goal of raising $1000 towards our team goal of $15,000.
