On July 27, 2023, my life took a dramatic turn when I was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma. It was a day that forever altered my path. Thanks to the incredible dedication and expertise of my doctors, I am deeply grateful that they were able to help me through this challenging journey and remove the cancer. The relief I felt when I completed all of my treatments was indescribable.

It’s incredible to witness the impact of fundraising through Run for the Cure, not only in supporting those affected by breast cancer but also in ensuring that we have the best systems and machines in place for treatment. I’m so proud to be walking alongside all the other participants in this meaningful cause.

To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.
