My mom recently passed away due to cancer in July. Before her passing, she fought her battle for over two years, but the strength she demonstrated throughout those years has inspired me to be as strong as she was moving forward. 

My mother was always willing to help others, even when she was sick. She, along with so many other women, are continuing to fight their battle with cancer, and I wanted to carry on my mothers will to help by participating in this run for the cure and it would mean so much to see as many people as possible there along side me!

With something hitting so close to home, anything means more than you think!
