I have decided to join "Grandma Dream Team", to show my support to my dear friends mom/grandma. Ana and her whole family make me feel like family and I feel blessed to have known them for about 25 years or so now. Her granddaughter Luisa started this group that I have quickly joined, and this is her story:

Our grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer 15 years ago and has been battling for most of our lives. Participating in this run will be her 2 daughters with her 6 grandchildren. She is truly the matriarch of our family and we are pleased and privileged to run on her behalf.

I show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
