This Sunday, I am running 5km for the CIBC Run for the Cure race in Vancouver in honour of Kamala Rao with Bryn and Bei.

Kamala was Bei’s Mama and Bryn’s wife and friend and though I’ve never met her, I know and respect her intimately.

I’ve heard countless stories about Kamala expressed with a laugh, smile or clever smirk by loved ones. And, I know there are many more to tell.

I’ve watched Bryn and Bei mourn and remember Kamala, and also watched and felt the sadness of friends and relatives who miss her deeply.

I’ve seen her love and genes expressed in the wonderful boy she created and nurtured. And, I know a lot of what makes Bryn a good partner came from her as well.

Please help me reach my goal of raising $150 to support a cure for breast cancer.
