I am once again participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure in honour of my close friend who is living with metastatic breast cancer. She continues to thrive and live a full life thanks in part to the amazing advances made in breast cancer research.

The funds raised from the Run are invested in breast cancer research, education, awareness, advocacy and health promotion initiatives across the country. Much progress has been made in the area of breast cancer research, but more needs to be done to eradicate this devastating disease.
