My Mom Carole passed away in January 1995 at age 54 due to breast cancer. She was still so very young with lots to look forward to. I was eight months pregnant at the time. She missed the birth of her grand-daughter who became my therapy along with our two young boys. I miss my Mom daily but especially on birthdays, holidays and other milestones in her grandchildren lives.  I miss both her elegance and her snorting when she laughed. She was more than my mother, she was also my friend. I have participated in the Run for The Cure almost every year since then thinking not only of my Mom, but of Belle, Rita, Lois, Patti, Isabel, Diane…There are so many people that have been affected by breast cancer - and not just the patients but their families too. Please contribute whatever you are able, to help me achieve my fundraising goal. Every dollar makes a difference. Your donation will help fund ground-breaking research to help save the lives of more Canadians and provide support programs for people affected by breast cancer.
