1 in 9 Canadian women will get breast cancer in their lifetime.

That’s why on Sunday, October 2nd, our team will be participating in the 2016 Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.  The money our team raises will help fund vital research, education and community support initiatives.

Fundraising works. Investments in innovative research and education by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation have led to progress in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care.  As a result, mortality rates have decreased by 43% since the peak in 1986. 

We are all in this together. Despite our successes, 67 women are still being diagnosed with breast cancer in Canada every day. Mothers, daughters, fathers, brothers, caregivers and friends; we will all be touched by breast cancer in our lifetime.
