Welcome! My name is Nicole Gustavsson and you are probably here because you know me, you knew my mom (Dianne), or you have been impacted by breast cancer in one way or another. I am the team captain of Dianne's Dream Team (and I like to think she would like that name). 

I lost my mom, Dianne Gustavsson to metastatic breast cancer in December of 2020 when she was only 56 years old.

Over the past 4 years, I have spent every day grieving her beautiful life. She was so much more than this horrendous disease, she was a shining light in everyone around her's life, and I am so lucky to be her daughter. My mom was kind, compassionate, caring and determined to put up a brave fight against a horrible disease. She often said she prayed that in me and my younger sisters lifetime that we would find a cure for breast cancer, and I am determined to make any contribution to that I can. 

This will be my 3rd time participating in Run for the Cure and I am hoping to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society to support Canadians like my mom impacted by breast cancer.
