August 11th, 2022 would have been sis's 46th Birthday! As many of you know, my sister lost her battle with breast cancer 10 years ago.

Sis was diagnosed at age 31 when her daughter was only 1 year old. She went through countless surgeries and painful treatments and fought hard for 4 years. Her perseverance let her celebrate her daughter's 5th birthday before passing away on April 12, 2012.

Life is full of surprises and comes full circle sometimes. My daughter was born exactly 2 years later on April 12, 2014!!

We miss you so much sis. Today we're at your memorial site to celebrate your birthday and we’re wishing you were still here with us.

We will never stop fighting for a cure. Treatments are getting better and survival rates are increasing but we still have a ways to go. We need more research dollars to find a cure -- thank you everyone for your continued support over the years!
