Wow it's the end of August and I am just getting around to registering for this very special fundraiser that has been near and dear to my heart for 15 years now. It is also the 5th anniversary since our dear Arlette was diagnosed with breast cancer. Arlette is healthy, happy and doing amazing cancer free because of the amazing care that she received throughout the Cancer Society here in Victoria. The care they provided her is directly funded through events such as this one so that is part of my reason for continuing to support this great cause!! Over these years  I have seen first hand the difference these funds make in the lives of the courageous individuals who are on this journey to health and reclaiming their lives. I ask that you please donate what you can and thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity; together we are stronger !!!

Every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.” While these Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, but there is still so much work to be done.By participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, we are joining a collective that is a force-for-life in the face of breast cancer.We are running in honour of the incredible people in our life, like Arlette and we need your help!
