Well, here I am 17 years into  the CIBC Run for the Cure.  I started in 2006, the year my sister Kay was diagnosed.  Kay was a breast cancer survivor as was my Mom Margaret.  Mom was a two time breast cancer survivor.  They were both strong women and gave cancer a good kick in the butt.  It has now been three years since I finished my radiation treatments and I have three years of cancer medication under my belt.  Only two more years to go.  I CAN DO THAT.  I am truly thankful for all the support I have had, my friends and family, my medical team and the wonderful Cancer Clinic.  You are all fabulous and you helped to make this very scary journey not so bad.    Thank you to family and friends that continue to support me in such a generous manner.  You guys "ROCK" I am thinking that this will be my last year doing the walk.  I don't have it in me to do the entire walk any more and the fact that next year I will be 80 years old I think this is a good time to stop.  It has really been fun though.
