March 2022 I was diagnosed with Invasive ductual carcinoma Stage 2. I was fortunate in my opinion to have the best medical team caring for me, had my lumpectomy surgery quickly followed by chemo and then radiation treatments. Looking forward to this years Run for the Cure and to walk/run beside my family and friends. Last year was so fun and uplifting, so thankful for all the support and meeting new people and listening to their stories. 

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.  

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
