As many of you know, I was diagnosed with and treated for early-stage breast cancer in 2023. I have learned so much as one often does when "it happens to you". As a result I plan to help educate and advocate for improved self and systemic breast screening guidelines until I die.

I also want to make improvements in breast cancer surveillance for survivors.

Sooooo, to work towards these goals, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

I will hobble for the cure for everyone! I don't run unless I am being chased by a bear. With your help, we can raise funds and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar raised will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.

Please donate today. I believe that breast cancer screening in the 40s and SUPPLEMENTAL SCREENING FOR PEOPLE WITH DENSE BREASTS leads to vastly improved survival outcomes.
