1 in 8 Canadian women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. This year marks my 6th year past treatment, surviving  breast cancer. I feel so fortunate to be a survivor and am happy to partipate in run for the cure again this year. Fund raising for the Canadian Cancer Society is my way of giving thanks for the great care and support I received. I have a tremendous team of family and friends with me again this year.

While Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, there is still so much work to be done.
