Every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.” 

Tracy heard those words 13 years ago -- and now, thanks to timely diagnosis, surgeries and treatment, she is stronger than ever.  

Though it has now been more than a decade since Tracy completed her chemo and radiation therapies, we still learn far too often of yet another friend or family member who is about to undergo similar treatment for cancer. 

There is still so much work to be done to help others in Canada see these milestones and similar ones with their loved ones. 

By participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure,  we are part of a collective that is a force-for-life in the face of breast cancer. We are running in honour of the incredible people in our lives (of whom Tracy is nearest and dearest to me).  You can help.
