Every year that I've participated in the Run for the Cure (somewhere around 17 years!), I write everyone's name on my run pinnie that I know who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Every year, it seems there are more names added. Unfortunately that pinnie is getting pretty crowded. But what I'm happy to share is that more and more of those names are people who have gone through treatment and are survivors.

Participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure with my family, I will continue to hope that one day, my list won't continue to grow. This will be the 5th event for my 4 year old and the 2nd for my 21 month old. We walk, we toddle, we run; we go rain or shine - to remember and honour those I have lost, to support those currently fighting, and to celebrate with the surviors - and I need your support!
