To show my support for all affected by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6th. 

I am participating in memory of my friend and sister-in-law Hailey, in the hope that better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. She was incredibly passionate about awareness and raising funds to change the future, for not only those in her family affected too, but everyone that will be diagnosed with breast cancer. 

Three years ago, we first participated in the Run for the Cure together! Hailey had just been diagnosed and was two months into chemo treatment, but still wanted to come out and walk as much as she could with the team. This is now our fourth year and has become one way to keep her memory alive.
