On October 13 2021, I heard the dreaded words. You have Cancer!!....... WTH !! I spent 2 years prior getting scans, and having them cleared, and a biopsy and having it cleared and Drs saying they are not REALLY seeing anything of concern. I pushed, and kept voicing … she ain’t right!!. I pushed my way into the Winnipeg Breast Clinic, almost 2 years after I went in over the initial concern. I found out a week later … she’s right!!! I did not want to be. I ended up with Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer, which is a less known sneaky a-hole BC that likes to lurk in the weeds and evade scans.I don’t want sympathy, and I hate attention BUT I want to encourage people to be your own advocate for your health !!!!!. Get your scans and check-ups, you are the keeper of your body!! And you are a number to many doctors, but not to your family & friends. Push push push if you are not being heard.
