As you know, my mom was diagnosed with stage 3c breast cancer October 5th, 2022. After a rough year for all of us, we are happy to say thanks to the treatments available she is a survivor. However, with her BRCA2 mutation it puts me at a higher risk for being diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in my life.

An estimated 27,700 women and 260 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
