To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

In January 2020 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The support that I received from my family, friends, strangers that became friends and my community is still so overwhelming it is hard to express with words. Their love and support gave me strength every minute of every day.

During the height of the pandemic my journay began. Cancer Care Manitoba was excellent in the support and services they provided to me and I felt I was in the best care possible.

Thankfully this fall I celebrate 4 years cancer free and I am so grateful for the opportunity to try and give back.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
