To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. 

This event has special meaning for me because I have precious friends impacted by this awful disease . My friend Shauna is currently fighting hard. Her breast cancer has spread to her lymph nodes and lungs and she is undergoing chemotherapy to get as much time as possible with her young family. My friend  Virginia is a survivor thankfully - but far too many more have been impacted… some won the battle and some did not. I am walking for them and all the other girls and women who will need breast cancer treatment now and in the future.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
