In March 2024 I was diagnosed with triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer) at 28 years old.

Over the past 6 months I've undergone 16 rounds of chemotherapy and will be on immunotherapy for a year. 

In October I will undergo breast surgery to have the tumor removed, followed by radiation. 

I am so grateful that I feel well enough to fundraise and walk 5km in this year's Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.
