Family and Friends,

This is my chance to raise funds for a cause that is close to my heart, as well as the rest of my family. Breast cancer has touched my family, and the family of my closest friends.  I can only speak to my feelings of what it is like to hear that someone you love has cancer.  I was so afraid of losing my mom that I didn't know what to do. I kept thinking why is this happening to my mom?

However, as I was thinking about everything I thought to myself that I am sure that most people would think...Why me? Why my mom? Why my Grandma? Why my sister? Why my _____? The list could go on and on.

After all the years that I have been participating in the run, I have always strived to raise as much as I can because, a future without breast cancer is what I am fighting for.

I love you mom!
