Chemo Savvy is a thriving dragon boat team of over 100 active members, who are ALL breast Cancer Survivors! We are active members of the International Breast Cancer Paddlers Commission (IBCPC), Chemo Savvy participates in shaping the sport for breast cancer survivors around the world.

In additon to travelling annually to paddling events across Canada, the USA, as well as competing every 4 years internationally over the past 25 years! Our most recent event being held in New Zealand April 2023! The next international event is being held in France in 2026. 

Off the water our team participates in various events promoting fitness and good health choices for everyone as a means of reducing Cancer risks. We participate in fundraising events for various cancer agencies, public information displays, community events such as; Santa Claus Parade, Annual Pink Ribbon Golf Tournament, speaking to media about issues related to breast cancer, survivorship and partnering in a quest for a cure. 

Most importantly Chemo Savvy is a fantastic support network of breast cancer survivors, for breast cancer survivors.
