To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

Cancer hit very close to home when my sister got diagnosed by a rare and aggressive cancer called Leiomyosarcoma. This is a cancer that grows on smooth muscle tissue, and can spread quickly to organs. She has been very resilient and strong despite the side effects and process of chemo while raising 3 young children.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
