Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page. 

This will be my 15th CIBC Run for the Cure. I started participating in 2010 when my mum was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. She died in November 2011, leaving us missing her daily. I hate that my son will never meet her, though I love telling him what an amazing friend, physician and mother she was. 

15 Canadian women die of breast cancer every day. I hate the idea of more generations of women leaving behind their families and friends. We can do better, and you can help! 

I believe that the way forward is more research, especially research into adapting some of the treatments that have revolutionized how other cancers are treated so that they might work in breast cancer. 

I ask you to once again give generously and help make breast cancer a thing of the past.
