To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

I spent countless hours beside my niece, Samantha, as she battled breast cancer and all the treatments over the past year. She’s a warrior. There’s more to overcome. If I am able to help in any way to ensure no woman goes through this disease without the best treatments and resources, it starts here. I hope my participation can make a difference, even for just one person.
