I am running in memory of my beautiful mother, who lost her battle with breast cancer in November 2018. The world lost the most beautiful soul and so many lives were shattered into a million pieces. I run in hopes that one day we will find a cure and no one else will have to lose their mom, grandmother, wife, sister, daughter, etc.

And in November 2022, a close friend was also diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks to the research and medications, she is healthy once again. I am a mammo technologist, so I work with breast cancer patients daily. I know my work makes a difference too.

To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
