Hey Family, Friends and Colleagues,

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, including family and friends, I am participating and fundraising again this year for the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure taking place on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated last year to this cause!

As many of you know, in November 2021, I was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer. The next year and half of my life were filled with doctor’s appointments, tests, surgery procedures, chemotherapy and radiation. It was a roller coaster of emotion from shock, to worry and fear, to dread and despair. I was lucky to have been under the care of a competent and caring team of professionals at the Cedars Cancer Centre in Montreal and have the support of loving, compassionate and concerned family and friends. Not all individuals with cancer are as lucky as I was; many are no longer with us.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund ground-breaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease. We all know someone who has received a diagnosis of cancer and have all been impacted by cancer. Let's fight cancer together.
