Here’s a little introduction for anyone who may not know much about me. My name is Jennifer and I am 33 years old. I love hiking, camping, playing soccer, eating delicious things, and spending time with my family and friends. I recently graduated university with my social work degree, got engaged to the love of my life, and we welcomed a beautiful baby boy in January. More recently, I have been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer after finding a lump in my right breast and advocating for myself to have it looked at. As a new mom it was passed off as likely being a clogged milk duct, or perhaps a cyst, and never in a million years did we think we would be hearing the words, “it’s cancer”. I am currently in the thick of treatment, taking everything day by day, and always looking for the positive side of things. 

 

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
