I am running for my sister Tammy.

Breast Cancer is a serious disease and it is impossible to predict what the future holds for us when we are diagnosed. My sister was 34 when she was diagnosed. After the initial shock, she truly believed she would survive this diagnosis. Being a single parent, she was determined to see her two young boys grow up. She had faith that she was in good hands, and would be okay. She put up a great fight but, in the end, she lost her battle with cancer.

On October 6th., the CIBC Run for the Cure will take place. Every year since she passed, my daughters and I walk and fundraise in her memory. Please consider donating to this very worthy cause.
