To show my support for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. 

I received my Breast cancer diagnosis 3 years ago.  My stage 2 diagnosis was caught relatively early but the nature of being HER2 positive  (a protein that promotes the growth of cancer cells) meant that in addition to surgery, I also needed chemo, radiation, and immunotherapy.  I am forever greatful for the advances in screening and treatment!

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
