As many of you are aware, I lost my sister-in-law, Melissa, in Oct. of 2023 to breast cancer. She was 40 years old and had so much love and life left in her. Throughout her entire battle she had a smile on her face. She fought with courage, perseverance, grace and determination to see her children grow up.

Her legacy and love will forever carry on through Jonathan, Blake, Everly and everyone who knew and loved her.

Sadly, this disease takes no mercy, soon after Melissa's passing her mother, Debbie, was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been battling this horrible disease in the midst of grieving the loss of her daughter.

To show my support for Melissa, Debbie and for the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
