In Memory of Rieneke: Running for a Cure

We are coming together this year as a group of friends to honor the memory of our dear friend, Rieneke, who lost her brave battle with breast cancer. Rieneke was a light in our lives—her strength, warmth, and kindness touched everyone around her. While her journey was cut far too short, her spirit continues to inspire us every day.

To honor Rieneke and the countless others affected by breast cancer, we are participating in the Run for the Cure. This run is more than just a race; it's a commitment to finding a cure and supporting those still fighting. Every step we take, and every dollar raised, brings us closer to a future without breast cancer.

Rieneke was only in her early 40s when breast cancer took her life, and my husband's niece Morgan was just in her early 30s when she passed from the same disease. We desperately need to find a cure!
