Cancer is a battle no one should have to face alone. Two years ago, I met my boyfriend, who was diagnosed with leukaemia 4 years ago. Watching him go through the highs and lows of his fight has been one of the most challenging yet profound experiences of my life. His strength and resilience, even during the toughest times, have shown me just how devastating cancer can be—not only physically, but emotionally and mentally.

Supporting him has given me a front-row seat to the incredible strength it takes to fight cancer. It has also deepened my understanding of how important it is to have the right kind of support—whether it's from loved ones, medical professionals, or organisations that fund cancer research.

Now, I have the opportunity to give back in my own way. I'll be running a 5K to raise funds for breast cancer research, and I couldn’t be more honoured. Cancer affects so many lives, and this cause is personal to me. I believe that by raising money and awareness, we can make a difference in the lives of those currently fighting and help fund the breakthroughs that will lead to a future free of this disease.
