Cancer is a condition that affects the lives of so many people in such a profound way. I truly did not appreciate it until my family was confronted with it two years ago. During my time as a pharmacy student I have learned the just how complex the disease is, how challenging it can be to treat, and how hard it is on patients. Every single day I continue to learn from my mother just how strong survivors are.

This year I am part of the Dal College of Pharmacy's team in the CIBC Run for the Cure on October 6th. My goal is to fundraise $175 for the Canadian Cancer Society with my 5k run.With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
