3 years ago a breast cancer diagnosis turned my world upside down as it does for thousands of Canadians every year. A couple of weeks after surgery I participated in my first Run for the Cure with TRod's Angels by my side and have continued to do so every year thereafter. Joining a community of warriors and supporters against this fight helped restore a sense of empowerment I had lost. I have pledged to Run for Myself and All Warriors as I participate again in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. This time, however, I will be out of the country and taking My Run south of the border.
