I am running for my family and friends affected by breast cancer, and all the lovely strong women I have met over the past few years as I have gone through my own treatment. 

In May of 2022, I was diagnosed with breast cancer found on routine screening mammogram.  I underwent treatment- surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. I truly believe that the fundraising efforts supporting breast cancer research has benefited not only myself but thousands of others in their treatment plan for best possible outcomes.  For that I am thankful.  

Every year for the past 10 years our family has participated in the CIBC Run for the Cure in memory of my niece Jaclyn 34, who sadly passed away from Triple Negative Breast Cancer.   Jaclyn's wish was to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research.   So, Team Jac Attack was created.  

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024.  With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people.
