This is my 10 year I have participated in the CIBC Run for the Cure in memory of Jaclyn Van Esbroeck at the age of 34, who sadly passed away.

We have come together as a team to support the estimated 27,700 women and 260 men diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Canada.

 We are participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2024, because we believe better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. And we want to support all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, including our family and friends.

 With your help, we can reach our fundraising goal and fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease. Together, we can create a future without breast cancer.

 Team Jac Attack has been running for a cure since 2015, in loving memory of Jaclyn Van Esbroeck. 

Jaclyn was a public health nurse and an active mother of two young children when she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in October of 2014.  Sadly, she lost her battle with breast cancer less than a year later, at the age of 34.  Since that time we, Jaclyn's family and friends, have continued to fight this terrible disease by running for a cure.

This year, we are participating as a "Run Your Way" Team at the Beautiful Morrison Dam Trail in Exeter.
