Support me for my fourth 5k run to Conquer Cancer!

Yes, you saw that right friends xx I am going to run another 5k!! I am turning 43 on the 3rd and figured what a great way to celebrate! 

There are so many reasons and people I want to do this for, Brett, Jennifer, Gayle, Taryn, Marieke, John, Cecile, Katie, Ryan and anyone who has had to fight this horrible fight.

So we all know it’s been a crazy couple of years. But, it’s really been a crazy 8 years. You might not all know my beautiful friend Brett Jaggard but she was diagnosed with a pretty hardcore breast cancer about 8 years ago and its been a wild ride ever since.  She is on the mend now and I am so excited to do my lil part to help others and her fight this beast. 

In 2017 Brett was diagnosed with triple negative BRCA 2 positive breast cancer, that metastasized in 2019 and spread to her liver, lungs, ovaries, adrenal glands and to her brain. 

With the help of an amazing team of doctors, chemo, radiation, an amazing miracle drug called Lynparza, the support and love of family and friends, exercise, meditation and good food the cancer is shrinking or disappearing! 

There is only 2 shrinking lesions in her brain now (not 3 anymore!) and she is feeling the best she has felt in a really long time! 

We are very thankful for this drug Lynparza she is on and that it has just been approved by Ontario Health and it will be saving other lives just like Bretts xx

To show my support for all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, I am participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 2, 2022.  

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
