Dear Family and Friends,

This year, I am excited to participate in the Run for the Cure to support the Canadian Cancer Society.  This cause is incredibly close to my heart for many reasons but one in particular...my dearest and close friend. 

Despite being diagnosed with cancer, she embodies strength and resilience in every aspect of her life. She wakes up each day with a determination. 

Some days are filled with treatments and doctor’s appointments, yet she faces each challenge with a brave smile. Her strength is not just in her physical endurance but in her unwavering spirit. She continues to pursue her passion for travelling, finding joy and strength in these activities.

She is a source of inspiration to those around her. She offers words of encouragement to fellow patients, shares her story to raise awareness, and remains a pillar of support for her family and friends. Her courage is evident in her ability to find hope and positivity even in the darkest times.

Despite the pain and uncertainty, her strength shines through in her ability to live each day with purpose and grace. She reminds us all that true strength is not just about overcoming obstacles but about facing them with dignity and an unbreakable spirit.

Participating in this event will help raise funds that will go towards research, support services, and education.  Every dollar we raise brings us one step closer to a world where no one has to fear cancer.

I believe better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. Together, we can give our Moms, Sisters, Aunts, Nieces, Friends and Co-workers who are impacted by breast cancer a reason to have hope. And we can help change the future for all.
