The Blue Mountains/Collingwood: Kent Stuempfle

My husband Kent and daughter Marissa and I are participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure.

Like many of you, our family has been touched by cancer. When Owen was 9 months old, Kent was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. We celebrate his health and are so thankful that he is cancer free. Last year alone 5 of our family/friends were diagnosed with some type of cancer. Fund-raisers like Run for the Cure give hope for so many people. My life long friend Cynthia, our family friend Jane and my sister-in-law Kim were all diagnosed with breast cancer. Their prognosis is good (thank God) and in my opinion it's because of research and support programs and services.

We are joining the CIBC Run for the Cure and are putting a team in this year in honour of Jane. I would ask, if you are able to please consider joining our team "Godin's Gang" or donating to the run in Collingwood on October 6, 2024.
