My story

Earlier this year a dear friend was lying in bed when she felt a lump in her breast. At 36 years old she discovered she had a tumor. A few weeks later she was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma HER2 positive. She has now completed 6 rounds of chemo, is awaiting surgery and radiation, and still has a ways to go to being cancer free.

I am doing this for her, among many other women I have known to be in her position. This disease is a scary thing. I have family I never met because of this disease, but also still have family and friends with me thanks to the money that has been raised and the ongoing research being done to try to bring this disease down.

With your help, I can reach my fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar I raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease.
