Greetings to all,

I hope you and your loved ones are doing well and had a wonderful summer.

Twenty-three years ago, on September 5, 2001, my beloved Mother-in-law, Anna Veneziano passed away after valiantly fighting breast cancer for 10 years. It was devastating to the family and her friends. She was a feisty, vivacious woman who loved her family with every ounce of her being.  And we miss her in our lives every day!

One month after her passing, I ran my first CIBC Run for the Cure 5K event. I cried the whole time I was running. At the finish line, I made a vow I would fundraise yearly and pester (yes pester) everyone I know to help me reach my target goal. I will continue to fundraise for research and finding a cure, so I could one day be happy to say, “We did it”.  I NEED YOUR SUPPORT to continue finding a cure, for all family members, friends and our daughters, so they won’t have to go through what so many women have had to endure.

My goal this year is to raise $1,500. The event takes place, Sunday October 6, 2024. I am looking forward to you helping me reach my goal again this year.  May you blessed with good health and happiness.
