It's hard to believe that this October will mark four years since our beloved, beautiful daughter Karen lost her intrepid battle with breast cancer.

Not only did Karen fight valiantly throughout her personal struggle, but she was also determined to raise awareness and donations for a cure as she headed our powerful Carin' for Karen team, fundraising tens of thousands of dollars for cancer research.

In Karen's memory and in support of the thousands of people who continue to be affected by this dreadful disease, I will once again participate in this year's CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6th as a team member of Forever Carin' for Karen.
