I have been living with Metastatic Breast Cancer for just over 4 years. My diagnosis was 'de novo' mBC to the bones. I continue to respond well to my first line of treatment. 

Metastatic Breast Cancer (Stage IV) is an incurable diagnosis and is often misunderstood. Metastatic breast cancer (also called stage IV) is breast cancer that has spread to another part of the body, most commonly the liver, brain, bones, or lungs. Metastatic Breast Cancer begins as breast cancer but travels through the bloodstream, lymphatic system and metastasizes. People living with mBC must continue treatment for the rest of lives.  Stability of the disease is a good sign but once there is progression a new line of treatment begins.
